Who is the Coalition for Healthy School Food?

“The Coalition for Healthy School Food is the largest school food network in Canada”.  The organization “advocates for the creation of a universal cost-shared school food program for Canada, that would see all K-12 students having daily access to healthy food at school”.

How is chep involved?

CHEP is a proud member of the Coalition for Healthy School Food and is committed to advocating and collaborating with the Coalition and community stakeholders to work towards a universal cost-shared school food program.

Why it matters

A universal cost-shared school food program can directly impact children’s short-term and long-term health; student well-being and success; the environment; economic growth, job creation, and agriculture; women and families and more.
