CHEP Sprouts garden Day Camp

CHEP Sprouts Garden Day Camp, in the context of play and curiosity, will provide children and youth from the ages of 5*-12 the opportunity to participate and engage in outdoor, placed-based learning, which will empower connection and appreciation for the natural environment.

*Children 5 years of age are able to register only if they have completed kindergarten

What to Expect

    • Gardening and land-based activities
    • Field trips and activities to learn about organizations within the surrounding neighbourhood
    • Employ creativity and choice in lunch and snack preparation
    • Walk to and from activities in the surrounding neighbourhood
    • Garden to table cooking activities

Cost:

  • $50 for the week
  • Includes lunches & supplies
  • Refund available up to 10 days before camp start date (minus 20% admin fee)
  • Subsidies are available

  • July 24th-28th
  • 9am – 4pm

Registration

Step 1: Choose the week you would like to register for your child/youth (*please take note the age categories for each week*)

Step 2: Access and complete the registration form below

Step 3: Send the form via email to communitygardens@chep.org

Step 4: Complete your preferred method of payment from the following options

  • In person at CHEP office: Stop by 1120 20th Street West between 9am-3pm (Monday – Friday). The Chep office is on the second floor.
  • Mailed Cheque: Mail to CHEP Good Food Inc.

  • E-transfer: Send to accounting@chep.org
    • Please indicate your name and that the payment is for Garden Day Camp in the memo
  • Credit Card over the phone: Call 306-986-5831
