Good Food Box
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make any substitutions in my order?
Unfortunately, we are not able to make any substitutions under any circumstances, including allergies. Our packing process involves a group of 20 or more volunteers putting the same produce into each box type, so custom orders are currently outside of our abilities. You are encouraged to trade any unwanted produce with those at your neighbourhood depot!
What produce goes into the boxes?
Part of the Good Food Box program is not knowing what you will get in your box from week to week. Boxes typically contain “staple” items, such as potatoes, onions, apples and bananas and whatever else is in season or available from our suppliers. You may occasionally find produce you have not used before and discover new favourites!
Each Good Food Box is different. To read more about box contents see Box Varieties.
How do I use a coupon online?
Unfortunately, our online store does not accept coupons. You can however get in touch with your neighbourhood depot coordinator to order through them and they will apply the coupon to your order. Not sure of how to get ahold of your neighbourhood depot? Give the CHEP office a call and we will pass along their contact information, or you can send them an email through our website.
