COOKING WORKSHOPS

Each month, we host cooking workshops led by food savvy volunteers who are eager to share their skills and teach food preparation techniques to small groups. Taking place in the commercial kitchen at Station 20 West, 1120 20th St. W, classes cover a range of topics such as canning and food preservation, artisanal bread, pie crusts, pyrogy making, cooking on a budget and more.

Our workshops are always low-cost (between $10-20) and we have subsidies available for those who request it. Classes are usually two to three hours long and every participant goes home with lots of delicious food to share with their families.

We also host monthly international cooking nights in partnership with Saskatoon Open Door Society. New Canadians from around the world help us celebrate the diversity of Saskatoon by sharing their favourite recipes and cooking techniques from their home countries.
