Volunteer and Office Coordinator

Working for CHEP Good Food, you are passionate about issues surrounding food security and want to make a difference in your community. Our volunteer base supports many of CHEP's programs, such as the Good Food Box, Community Fresh Food Markets, Collective Kitchens and Community Gardens. This combined role of Volunteer and Office Coordinator is responsible to act as a first point of contact for information from the public and interested volunteers, plus coordinating office administration.

Duties include: 
* Volunteer Screening, Intake, Assignments & Orientation
* Office management (filing, record keeping, taking minutes, equipment upkeep)
* Office Reception
* Assistance with some fundraising events
* Providing information to the public

Required:
* University degree or certificate that relates to position 
* Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership success
* Experience in training and supervising
* Superior written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Highly organized with ability to master multiple tasks
* Experience working for a non-profit  considered a definite asset

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) until March 31, 2018 (with strong possibility of extension)
