Collective Kitchens

Small groups of people get together to cook in bulk for their families. They pool resources, plan and prepare delicious low cost nutritious meals. Members stretch family food funds while having fun and making new friends. Leadership training workshops enable community participants to become leaders of collective kitchen groups and to become champions for healthy lifestyles. Three community partners, the Community Clinic, Public Health Services and CHEP, support the collective kitchen action in Saskatoon.
